"Objection!" - An interjection commonly uttered by lawyers. In real life, it is generally used prior to pointing out that someone in court is breaking a rule of trial proceedings. In the Ace Attorney series, it is used much more liberally; defense attorneys often yell, "Objection!" when they are about to point out a contradiction between a witness's testimony and the court record or established facts, and lawyers from both sides yell, "Objection!" to open a rebuttal.



"Hold It!" - An interjection frequently used in the Ace Attorney series. It is usually uttered by defense attorneys during a cross-examination to interrupt a witness testimony and question the witness on a statement the witness gave. Witnesses and other characters also yell "Hold it!" often to interrupt courtroom proceedings for various reasons.



"Take that!" - An interjection commonly used in the Ace Attorney series. Defense attorneys usually yell this when they present evidence from the court record to answer a question that someone has raised during or after a trial. In Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice For All and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations, Phoenix Wright also yells, "Take that!" when he presents his magatama.



"Gotcha!" - An interjection frequently used in the Ace Attorney series. It is usually uttered by defense attorneys during a cross-examination to interrupt a witness testimony and question the witness on a statement the witness gave. "Eureka!" - An interjection used by Miles Edgeworth in two games in the Ace Attorney series. It is frequently used when he has deduced a particular scene with a piece of evidence correctly. Miles Edgeworth is the only character so far to have used this quote.
