Sebastian Vettel snatched the drivers' title from the grasp of his rivals after a brilliant drive in the Abu Dhabi night sky ended with glory for Red Bull.

The race hinged on a backfiring gamble from Ferrari to bring Fernando Alonso in from fourth for an earlier than expected pit stop, but the Spaniard's hard tyres failed to come to him and he languished in the midfield behind the longer running cars before finishing a disappointing seventh.

Sebastian Vettel led home team-mate Mark Webber for a Red Bull 1-2 as their team wrapped up the constructers' championship (well, not with the old points system, as they are still 17 points ahead!) at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

More importantly for the drivers, it keeps both of their title hopes very much alive heading to the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with Fernando Alonso finishing third ahead of Lewis Hamilton.

The result means that Alonso leads Webber by only 3 points with Vettel a further 2 behind his team-mate. Lewis Hamilton, who finished fourth, is now very much an outsider for the title as he is now 7 points behind Alonso. But Jenson Button's championship challenge is over after he finished fifth and dropped to 17 points off Alonso.

Fernando Alonso won a dramatic if protracted Korean Grand Prix to blow the title race wide open as Mark Webber crashed into retirement and Sebastian Vettel's engine blew with 10 laps remaining.

Lewis Hamilton made the most of Red Bull's misfortune to boost his title hopes with a second place finish ahead of Felipe Massa and Michael Schumacher. It means that Alonso now leads the drivers' standings from Webber by 5 points and Hamilton by 6 points, with Vettel dropping to fourth.

Sebastian Vettel took a dominant victory at an incident-packed Japanese Grand Prix, with team-mate Mark Webber settling for second to complete a perfect weekend for Red Bull.

The pair's title rivals lined up behind with Fernando Alonso third, Jenson Button fourth and Lewis Hamilton fifth, but the weekend belonged to Red Bull. Vettel's solid performance leaves him ahead of Alonso with 1 point in the title chase and just 4 points off championship leader Webber with just three races remaining.

Mark Webber made the most of his Red Bull team-mate's misfortune to win the Hungarian Grand Prix from Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel.

Vettel looked set for victory until he was hit with a drive-through penalty for leaving a gap larger than ten car lengths to Webber during a mid-race safety car period. Webber took full advantage, dialling in a series of fastest laps to pull out enough of a lead after his stop to hold his advantage to the finish. Vettel, unable to find a way past the slower Ferrari of Alonso, had to settle for third.

Fernando Alonso led home team-mate Felipe Massa as Ferrari recorded a controversial 1-2 at the German Grand Prix.

Massa looked odds on to win the race but the Brazilian was ordered to move aside and let Alonso pass with 17 laps remaining, as the issue of team favouritism once again reared its ugly head.

"Fernando is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?" Massa's race engineer Rob Smedley told him over the radio.

In the aftermath of the incident, Ferrari was fined $100,000 for a breach of regulations and the case will now be referred to the FIA World Motorsport Council for further consideration.

Hey guys. New thing I'm working on :)

Did you know, in this year's F1, the points system had changed from last year? Instead of 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 for the Top 8, it is now changed to 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 for the Top 10.

So now I'm gonna calculate the drivers and constructors points using the old points system, starting from the Bahrain Grand Prix.
