When was the last time I did a movie review? Well that was Harry Potter way back in July! Due to the hype this movie is given, my family and I decided to watch it and I hoped that it wasn't a deja vu of Transformers 2 (Mega hype, but overall lame movie). The pros: Just like Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow, this movie's focus are the special effects. Never have I ever seen a movie with so detailed special effects, with the crashing waves and the collapsing buildings.

The cons: As with most disaster stories, the plot tends to be very, very boring. And how can the same people survive every single earthquake and cracks they face when boarding a plane is a mystery to me. Jokes made during some crucial action scenes (especially those made by that rich fat guy in the film) are also unneccessary.

Summary: Like Transformers and special effects? You'll not want to miss this epic blockbuster. Hate lame characters and chessy dialouges? You'll better be watching something esle.
