You know the upcoming movie, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time?

Did you the movie's actually based on a long running video game franchise of the same name (Prince if Persia), dating back to the late eighties?

I'm debating on whether to watch this, cause it's a VIDEO GAME MOVIE. What movie in recent years have been successful with the box office AND the critics? 2007's Resident Evil: Extinction might have done well at box office, but it got terribly ratings. Remember last year's Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li? That movie was terrible, and it flunked at box office.

So that's the reason I'm holding my breath on the Prince the Persia movie, but the trailer does look pretty awesome :D
